Euochin atrata ( Song & Chai, 1992) View in CoL comb. nov. ( Fig. 1A–D View FIGURE 1 )
Euophrys atrata Song & Chai, 1992: 77 View in CoL , fig. 2A–C (♀); Song & Li, 1997: 431, fig. 39A–C (♀); Song et al., 1999: 509, figs 293A, 325F (♀); Peng, 2020: 102, fig. 56a–b (♀).
Type material. Holotype ♀ and paratype 1♀ (IZCAS-Ar9250, 9251), China, Hubei, Enshi , Badong County, 21.V.1989 (examined).
Diagnosis. The female of Euochin atrata comb. nov. closely resembles E. fengi sp. nov. in the shape of atrial ridge, copulatory opening and epigynal window, but can be distingulished by the ratio of the length of the copulatory duct to the length of spermatheca being almost 1: 2 (vs. 1: 3 in E. fengi sp. nov.), Bennett’s gland present in anterior of spermatheca (vs. Bennett’s gland unobvious in E. fengi sp. nov.) and fertilization duct connected to the anterior retrolateral edge of spermatheca (vs. connected to the anterior middle in E. fengi sp. nov.).
Description. Female (holotype): Measurements see Song & Chai 1992. Coloration as in Fig. 1D View FIGURE 1 .
Epigyne ( Fig.1A, B View FIGURE 1 ):Atria oval, paired.Copulatory openings anteriorly located, separated. Copulatory ducts slightly curved, connecting with anterior part of ental side of spermathecae, with width about 1/4 of spermatheca width. Spermathecae oval, touching posteriorly. Fertilization ducts lamellar, originating from anterior portions of spermathecae.
Variability. Paratype: cephalothorax length 1.63, width 1.18; abdomen length 1.77, width 1.24.
Distribution. China (Hubei).
