Diagnostic characters. A. cinctipes differs from other species by the combination of the following characters. Male: tibiae with 4 bands, m-cu before f-cu, R 3 apex close to C, gonostylus with 9 apical teeth; tapered megaseta, dorsal lobe club-shaped with fringe, anal point covers partially the aedeagal complex; Pupa: veins and spots wing sheath present, aeropyle tube club-shaped apex, dorsal pore in A IV positioned between D 1 and D 3, genital sac beyond the second taeniae; Larva: expanded head and without spots, ligula teeth concave, dorsal pore present, posterior parapod with 3 brown claws, procercus yellow and with 7 anal setae.

Male (n = 5, unless otherwise stated): Dimensions: Total length 3.68–3.85 mm. Wing length 1.90–2.10 mm. Total length/wing length 1.81–2.03. Wing length/length of profemur 2.45–2.59.

Coloration ( Figs 4A–F View FIGURES 4 , 5A View FIGURES 5 ): wing with brown spots. Legs: P I —femur with 3 bands, tibia with 5 bands; P II — femur with 3 bands, tibia with 4 bands; P III —femur and tibia with 3 bands. Ratio of bands, related tibiae and tarsomeres 1 follow table 6. Hypopygium: gonocoxite apex and gonostylus base brown.

Head: antenna with 14 flagellomeres, AR 1.77–1.85, apical flagellomere 118–120 µm long and subapical seta 45 µm long (n=1); temporals 50–53; clypeus bearing 43–48 setae, 113–115 µm long, 95–100 µm wide; labrum with 4 setae, 108–122 µm long and 63–68 µm wide; tentorium 175–195, µm long; cibarial pump 315–330 µm long orifice 55–60 from apex; palpomeres 1–5: 58–63; 100–108; 128–155; 143–150; 87–135 µm long; palpomere 3 with sensilla capitata 35–38 µm from base.

Wing ( Fig. 4A View FIGURES 4 ): width/lenght 0.24–0.27; VR 0.76–0.82; C 0.78–1.89 mm long; Sc 0.80–0.92 mm long; m-cu 510–530 µm from arculus; R 3 apex close to C; brachiolum with 4 setae; squama with 43 setae.

Thorax ( Fig. 4B View FIGURES 4 ): antepronotals 22–23; prealars 22–25; supraalars 1; scutelars 16–22.

Legs ( Fig. 4D–F View FIGURES 4 ): P I —apex of tibia 58–61 µm wide and with apical pectinated spur 53–65 µm long, spur ratio 0.48–0.59; tarsomeres with 1–2 pseudospurs 55–67 µm long. P II –apex of tibia 58–68 µm wide and with 2 apical pectinated spurs 60–67 and 48–55 µm long, spurs ratio 0.51–0.55 and 0.48–0.51; tarsomeres 1-3 with 3, 4 or 9 pseudospurs 50–60 µm long. P III —coxa with 5 central microsetae, apex of tibia 62.5–67 µm wide and with 2 apical pectinated spurs 70–73 and 50–60 µm long, spurs ratio 0.51–0.53 and 0.42–0.46; tarsomeres 1-3 with 1 or 2 pseudospurs 57–65 µm long. Hypopygium ( Fig. 5A–D View FIGURES 5 ): tergite IX with 2 central setae; anal point covers partially the aedeagal complex; phallapodeme 43–45 µm long; sternapodeme 100–110 µm long; gonocoxite 150–170 µm long and 100–125 µm wide; gonostylus 152.5–173 µm long, with 9 apical teeth; tapered megaseta; HR 0.98; HV 2.16–2.57. Aedeagal complex: grooved aedeagal blade 45–51 µm long, base 10–13 µm wide, 9/10 6–8 µm width; dorsal lobe clubshaped with fringe, 15–16 µm long and base 18 µm wide; lateral lobe and basidorsal lobe present.

Female. Unknown.

Pupa (n = 3, unless otherwise stated)

Dimensions: male abdomen 5.0– 5.6 mm long.

Coloration ( Fig. 6A–D View FIGURES 6 ): exuviae brown; wing sheath with spots.

Cephalothorax ( Fig. 6A, B View FIGURES 6 ): wing sheath 1.71–1.89 mm long and with completed veins; thoracic horn 412–555 µm long and 222–239 µm wide, with spines in basal and lateral sides; lumen with hexagonal pattern; apex of aeropyle tube club-shaped; thoracic comb with 15 conical teeth.

Abdomen ( Fig. 6C, D View FIGURES 6 ): tergites I–VIII with shagreen as small spines in arc; scar in A I 220–230 µm long; A IV chaetotaxy follow figure 6C; A VII with 4 lateral setae, LS 1 185–200 µm long; A VIII with 5 lateral setae, LS 1 100–108 µm long; anal lobe 400–458 µm long, base 400 µm wide; with 2 anal macrosetae, LS 1 151–162 µm long, LS 2 215– 225 µm long, inner side spinulate; genital sac 371–380 µm long; GS/AL 0.72–0.89.

4th instar larva (n = 3, unless otherwise stated)

Dimensions: head capsule 945–950 µm long and 730–733 µm wide.

Coloration ( Fig. 7A–D View FIGURES 7 ): head capsule yellow without spots; postoccipital margin brown; ligula teeth brown; procercus yellow; posterior parapod with 13 claws, 3 hooked claws brown and 10 simple claws yellow.

Abdomen ( Fig. 7D View FIGURES 7 ): procercus 97–120 µm long and 35 µm wide, 7 anal setae 760µm long; supraanal seta simple and 500 µm long; supraanal seta lenght/ anal setae lenght 0.66; posterior parapods with 13 simple claws, with the serrated sides and 3 hooked claws with the smooth sides, tip of posterior parapods with spines.
