Taxonomy of Ulonemia View in CoL View at ENA s.l.
The following taxon descriptions are restricted to the genera Cercotingis , Proteatingis , and Ulonemia ; these taxa include species that are: (i) previously or were provisionally assigned to Ulonemia at the commencement of this study; (ii) Proteaceae specialists; and (iii) with at least one species with Macadamia F.Muell. ( Proteales : Proteaceae ) as a host. Comparison of Ulonemia specimens from western WA to the descriptions and type photographs of U. mjobergi and U. plesia revealed that the species are synonymous. As U. mjobergi is the older name, all specimens of U. plesia are transferred to that species.
