S. terraereginae and S. aterrima share partly strongly infumed wings without distinct darker spots and largely dark legs without distinct darker rings in femora and tibiae. The males share long slender gonocoxites with longer spine at about midlength and markedly shorter apical spine and gonostyli with three elements including a whip-like one.
