Material examined. 1, 8, Solomon Is., Gizo, Gizo, 0–200 m, December 1975 (N. L. H. Krauss) (Bishop Museum via BMNH). Dry mounted .

Comments. Species of the psylloptera type. Similar to P. marginata sp. n. but diVers in the smaller body dimensions, the short setae on forewing veins and the light apices of the veins in apical region of forewing.
