Note. The genus and species were revised, re-described and illustrated by Behounek et al. (2013). Formerly the species has been known from two localities in Central Nepal only. The new record of P. yangzisherpana in South Tibet ( China) significantly extends the range of its known distribution. As in the Nepal populations, the species occurs in Tibet in upper part of Picea-Betula forest belt at altitude of 3250 m.
