Description. Body slightly shiny ( Fig. 1b View FIGURE 1 ), reddish-brown, sparsely pubescent, covered with long golden setae; legs, antennae, and maxillary palpi slightly lighter, length 2.46–2.48 mm; maximum width of elytra 0.65–0.67 mm. Head clearly wider than long, eyes composed of three small ommatidia located above large ocular spines; clypeus large, rounded; frons with large, deep, semi-triangular excavation that is narrowly prolonged anteriorly, vertex flat, with well-defined lateral and median carinae, lateral carinae remote from antennal tubercles, median carina remote from posterior margin of frontal excavation, both reaching posterior margin of head capsule, vertexal pits separated, distant from lateral and median carinae; surface between carinae almost glabrous, smooth; antennae ( Fig. 2c View FIGURE 2 ) long and slender, 1.33–1.35 mm long, scape cylindrical, slightly longer than wide, pedicel longer than wide, antennomere III–IV slightly elongate, V–VII clearly longer than wide, VIII longer than wide, antennomere IX longer than wide, X almost quadrate, IX and X both symmetrical, lacking modifications, terminal antennomere asymmetrical, about 2.3 times as long as wide, with lateral, basal, shallow oval excavation. Pronotum longer than wide, about as long as head, with small triangular spines in basal third; carinae evanescent. Median antebasal and lateral foveae welldefined. Elytra simple, about as long as wide and about 1.4 times as long as pronotum, widest at middle. Abdomen slightly narrower than elytra, first visible tergite (IV) large, with three large setose basal foveae and two short basal carinae, basal carinae reaching basal fifth of tergal length, their distance 0.18 of its basal width. Legs long and slen- der, simple, mesofemora with ventral basal, spine ( Fig. 2g View FIGURE 2 ). Aedeagus 0.38 mm long ( Fig. 3c View FIGURE 3 ).

Sexual dimorphism. Females in general smaller, with almost quadrate antennomeres IX and X, terminal antennomere lacking lateral, oval orifice, mesofemora lacking spine.

Etomology. Named after our colleague and friend Slavcho Hristovski (Skopje, North Macedonia) who collected most of the specimens of the type series.

Differential diagnosis. The new species is readily separated from all congeners by the unique, simple, unmodified antennal club with elongate antennomeres IX and X, the pronotum with evanescent carinae, and by the shape of the aedeagus.

Distribution. North Macedonia (Šar planina Mts.).
