Distribution: From Indian and Atlantic Oceans; no reports from the Pacific. Around South Africa from Sea Point to Port Elizabeth. Recorded by McMillan (1987 a, 1990 b) from the coast of Namibia and by Dale and McMillan (1999) from the west coast of South Africa.
