Biology. Reported as parasitoid of Ernobius nigrinus ( Coleoptera : Anobiidae ), Magdalis armigera ( Coleoptera : Curculionidae ), Pityokteines vorontzovi ( Coleoptera : Curculionidae ) and Scolytidae . Solitary endoparasitoid and emerged from the larval or nymph stage. This species may also be attracted to light, and males will swarm ( van Achterberg 1988, Yu et al., 2016).
Distribution. China (Inner mogolia, Hebei, Henan, Ningxia, Sichuan, Yunnan); Afghanistan; Azerbaijan; Georgia; Kazakhstan; Korea; Iran; Israel; Mongolia; Morocco; Russia; Turkey; Turkmenistan; Uzbekistan; Europe; Nearctic. New record for China.
Notes. The length of first metasomal tergite varies from 1.6 to 1.8 × its apical width. A specimen from Ningxia Province (No. 200902197) has only 16 antennomeres ( Fig. 4D View FIGURE 4 ).
