Chonocephalus pedalis Borgmeier View in CoL
Chonocephalus pedalis Borgmeier, 1967: 203 View in CoL .
The figure of the holotype’s hypopygium by Borgmeier is misleading as it shows a single focal plane only. This omits the conspicuous palisades of bristles on the posterolateral regions of the epandrium. Furthermore, Borgmeier stated that the hypopygium was bare. This erroneous statement was evidently based on his misleading figure rather than an appraisal of the specimen.
