Adixoa Hampson View in CoL , [1893]
This genus is insufficiently known, and until now all species were only know from either male or female specimens. We here report the discovery of male specimens of A. leucocyanea , a species, which was known only from the single female holotype that was redescribed in detail by Kallies (2007). According to the structure of the male genitalia, A. leucocyanea is not closely related to Adixoa trizonata (Hampson, 1900) , the only species of which the structure of the male genitalia were known. Until Adixoa alterna (Walker, [1865]), the type species of the genus Adixoa , can be examined in detail, we refrain here from the erection of a new genus.
