Distr.: Neotropical: Brazil (Paraná, Rio de Janeiro, Rio Grande do Sul, Santa Catarina), Colombia, Costa Rica, French Guiana, Guyana, Jamaica, Mexico (Veracruz-Llave), Paraguay, Peru, Puerto Rico, Suriname, Venezuela. acroleuca Wiedemann, 1828: 312. Type locality: “Südamerika” [= Brazil (from type specimen label data)]. ST 5 ♂, 1♀ [NMW]; ST 1 ♀ in [ZMHB]. Distr.: Neotropical: Brazil (Paraná, Rio de Janeiro, Rio Grande do Sul, Santa Catarina), Colombia, Costa Rica, French Guiana, Guyana, Jamaica, Mexico (Veracruz-Llave), Paraguay, Peru, Puerto Rico, Suriname, Venezuela.
