The CSUC has specimens from Cali and the MCSN has a specimen from Cartago. The species was previously known from Brazil, Ecuador, French Guiana and Panama ( Metcalf 1963a).

Material examined. “ COLOMBIA, Cali , 12-23-76 to 1-10-77, J.R. Bretsch ” (one male, CSUC; one male, AFSC); “ Colombie, Cartago, f. Bernard, D. Griffini 907” (one male, MCSN).
