Found at 200±1500 m. ex Carthamus tenuis : 5M and 9F, Ainab, Aley Co. (Mount Lebanon); 1M and 2F, Baabda, Baabda Co. (Mount Lebanon); 3M and 2F, Ehden, Zgharta Co. (North Lebanon); 1M and 5F, Kousba, Koura Co. (North Lebanon); 1F, Bhamdoun, Aley Co. (Mount Lebanon).

This specialist species is associated with Carthamus spp. and was reported from Israel, Iraq and Cyprus ( White and Marquardt, 1989).
