C o m m e n t: According to SCHÜLKE & KOCIAN (2000), M. jonicus was previously known only from the Ionian islands Corfu, Kefalonia, Levkas, and Zakynthos. The male listed in Tab. 1 represents the first record from the Aegean islands. It is deposited in cSch.
