For comparison, we present oscillograms of the song of this Chinese species ( Figs. 8 View FIGURE 8 , 9 View FIGURE 9 ) in the same scale as the other species. The recorded male typically started to sing with isolated echemes, changed to a slow and irregular rhythm and switched ( Fig. 8 View FIGURE 8 ) to the species-specific fast echeme repetition rate only after some minutes.
