Eburodacrys yolandae View in CoL sp. nov.

( Figs. 1–4 View FIGURES 1 – 4 )

Male. Integument mostly orange; head and prothorax reddish-orange; apex of mandibles, apex and ventral region of genae, antennal tubercles, and occipital median spot black; prothorax with pronotal, antemedian and lateral tubercles, posterior region to the pronotal tubercles, area surrounding procoxal cavities and one large, subtriangular spot on each side of prosternum black; sides of mesoventrite, large triangular macula on each side of metaventrite and most of urosternites black; scutellum, short longitudinal band close to apex of anterior eburneous callosities and close to base and apex of posterior eburneous callosities black; elytral sutural area darkened; femora with apex and spine black.

Head shallowly, finely punctate. Superior eye lobes well-separated, distance between them at least 2.5 times width of one upper lobe. Antennae reaching elytral apex at apex of antennomere VII, with long setae on the inner side of basal antennomeres; scape excavated dorsal and ventrally; antennomere III with shallow sulcus. Prothorax with median lateral spines and slightly indicated antemedian tubercles. Surface of pronotum with transverse winkles, with two tubercles rounded at apex. Mesoventrite without tubercle. Elytra with long, erect, sparse setae; each elytron with three narrow eburneous callosities: one anterior and two posterior, posterior ones separated, lateroposterior beginning behind inner posterior, lateroposterior slightly longer than inner posterior; apex of elytra with external spine; epipleura with tooth near base of elytron.

Variability. In females the antennae are shorter, reaching elytral apex at base of antennomere X.

Measurements, in mm. Holotype, male, total length: 17.3, prothorax length: 3.7, prothorax width at its widest point: 4.5, elytral length: 11.9, humeral width: 4.8. Paratypes, ♂ / ♀, n = 5 / 11. Total length: 16.28±1.65 / 15.51±1.85, prothorax length: 3.36±0.35 / 3.12±0.38, prothorax width at its widest point: 4.24±0.54 / 3.98±0.53, elytral length: 11.26±1.10 / 11.02±1.47, humeral width: 4.50±0.54 / 4.40±0.77.

Remarks. Eburodacrys yolandae sp. nov. is similar to E. sticticollis and E. nemorivaga by its general appearance. It differs from both in having the elytral integument matte, the transversal wrinkles of pronotum deeper and more visible and posterior eburneous callosities separated by at least the distance equivalent to width of one callosity. In E. sticticollis and E. nemorivaga , the integument of the elytra is shining, the disc of pronotum does not have wrinkles or the wrinkles are shallow, and the posterior eburneous elytral callosities are joined, separated by a distance smaller than the width of a callosity. Furthermore, the new species differs from E. nemorivaga in having the antennal tubercles black and a black spot behind each pronotal tubercle. In E. nemorivaga , the antennal tubercles are concolorous with the head and there is only one median black spot behind the pronotal tubercles.
