Laemophloeus fasciatus is newly recorded in Atlantic Canada ( Fig. 1 View Fig ). It is found under bark (Th omas 1993). In Atlantic Canada it has been collected in coniferous and mixed forests and has been found on basswood ( Tilia europea L., Tiliaceae ).
