Tozoni, 1993: 121 (original description); fig. 18 (female thorax and abdomen coloration).

Type locality: Brazil, Mato Grosso do Sul, Dourados.

Holotype ♀ with labels: (1) printed on white paper: “ BRASIL, MS, DOURADOS | ( ITAUM) [ Municipality of Dourados ] |. III.1974 | ROPPA & ALVARENGA COL.”; (2) handwritten on white paper: “ Olbiogaster midas Tozoni ”; (3) printed on red paper: “ Holotype ”.

Condition of type. On permanent slide, very clarified.
