With characters of Metabelba : medium sized damaeid mites with moniliform legs of moderate length; trochanteral formula: 1-1-4-3, femoral formula: 10-10-9-9, setal formula of tarsi (solenidia in parenthesis, famulus included): 20(2)-17(2)-17(0)-14(0); famulus emergent, setiform, normally developed.
From all other subgenera differs by presence of companion seta d on tibia IV, coupled with respective solenidion, thus tibial solenidia II–IV all with companion seta d and the setal formula of tibia is 4-5-5-5.
One pair of prodorsal tubercles (D a, D p) present, ventral side without tubercles. Sensillus and interlamellar seta with flagelliform tips. Adanal seta ad3 inserted quite far from anal opening, closer to lateral margin of anogenital plate.
