Host. Acanthoscelides obtectus (Say) ( Pintureau et al. 1999) .

Distribution. NEOTROPICAL: Chile.

Note. The information provided by Pintureau et al. (1999) is ambigous. They mention Bruchus pisorum L. in Pisum sativum L. as the primary host of U. chilensis , but in Materials and Methods they explain that Uscana species were reared from A. obtectus (Say) .
