Diagnosis. Easily distinguishable from other species by combination of large body size, by yellow elytral pattern reduced to small apical spot and by presence of dark brown tooth on anterior femur.

Description. Body length 9–9.8 mm. Dorsal surface with dense and long yellow pubescence. Coloration of head and pronotum metallic green with golden overtones. Mouthparts, antennomeres and legs yellow. Antennomeres IV– XI slightly darker. Elytra metallic green, without yellow lateral band, with only narrowly yellow apice of elytra. Ventral surface black, iridescent, all abdominal segments with narrow lateral band, sometimes reduced to V–VI segments.

Head smooth and shiny on frons, coarsely punctate behind eyes and vertex. Pronotum cordiform, without microreticulation. Punctation on disc dense and regular, punctures separated by 1–2 their diameters. Lateral margins very narrow. Elytra with striae deep; finely punctate. Intervals slightly convex in anterior half.
