Diagnosis. Body size 4–8 mm, with fine hairs on the surface. Eyes moderately vaulted. Frons broader than length of eyes. Head cylindrical, slightly narrowing behind eyes. Pronotum broader than long, with tuberculate spines or rough punctures. Scutellum broader than long, trapezoidal. Elytra almost rectangular, with punctures coarsely wrinkled. Front coxae situated at the front edge of the prosternum in both sexes. Tibiae broad and flat, not curved in either sex. Antennal scape almost oval or cylindrical, funicle short, club conical with 3rd and 4th segments fused.
