Distribution. Ethiopian, Oceanic, Western Palaearctic. Algeria, Bermuda, Bulgaria, Finland, Israel, Italy, Kenya, Libya, Morocco, South Africa, Spain, Tanzania, Tunisia, Turkey.
Introduced Into Australia-New South Wales, Cook Islands, Fiji, Corsica, France, Greece, Guam, Italy, Madagascar, New Caledonia, Spain, U.S.A. -Florida and Hawaii.
Hosts. Diptera .
