Remarks. First record for the Isle of Elba and the Tuscan Archipelago. In Italy this species, typically found in saline habitats ( Scudder 1976, Tamanini 1979), was previously known for the islands of Sicily, Pantelleria, Lampedusa, Sardinia (and other minor islands), and from a single record from coastal southern Tuscany (cf. Bacchi & Rizzotti Vlach 2007, Cianferoni 2013).
