Pholcoides afghana Roewer, 1960 View in CoL
Roewer 1960: 41–42, figs. 12a–d.
Type material. 1Ψ (or juvenile?) holotype, “Qal’eh Lakou”, Kabul Valley, Afghanistan; 7.vii.1957, with original label “ Pholcoides n. g., afghana n. sp., 1Ψ Typus A 254”, in Naturhistoriska Museet, Göteborg, Sweden, examined.
Note. Several genera of Filistatidae occur in Asia, and Pholcoides may well by a synonym of one of them. However, being no expert for Filistatidae , it is certainly preferable to leave this problem to a future revisor of Filistatidae .
