Specimens on 298 collected from maple in Tiergarten , Berlin, Germany. Specimen 300 collected from Sorbus View in CoL . Date and location not given but assumed to be the same as for specimen 298. Remarks. Confirmation of the synonymy with Periphyllus testudinaceus ( Fernie, 1852) is needed as Eastop & Hille Ris Lambers (1976) expressed uncertainty in this treatment.
