Type material. HOLOTYPE ♂, CHINA, Shaanxi, Ningshan (N33°18′ 44.05″ E108°18′ 34.73″), Xunyangba Town, 1365 m, 2013. VIII.12, Y.Q. Xi. PARATYPES 2 ♂, Shaanxi, Ningshan (N33°18′ 44.05″ E108°18′ 34.73″), Xunyangba Town, 1365 m, 2013. VIII.12/13, Y.Q. Xi.

Distribution. China (Shaanxi).

Etymology. The specific name refers to the collector Yuqiang Xi.

Remarks. This new species is somewhat similar to H. xishuangbannaensis Yang & Yang from Yunnan, but can be easily separated from it by the following characters: wing tinged brownish; pterostigma distinct, dark brown; right surstylus widely rounded with spinose marginal setae and an inner process. In H. xishuangbannaensis , the wing is not tinged brownish; the pterostigma is indistinct, brownish; and the right surstylus has no inner process and marginal denticles ( Yang & Yang 2004).
