Distribution: Palaearctic: Bosnia­Hercegovina, Croatia, Egypt, Greece, Italy, Kyrgyz Republic, Lebanon, Palestine, Slovenia, Syria, Tajikistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Yugoslavia.

It is a common species in the highland and Jordan Valley. Many specimens were picked by hand from the flowers of Pink Flax, Linum pubescens Banks & Sol. at sunset in As Salt and from Blue flax Linum peyronii Post.
