Material examined. Holotype ( MNHN 6073). 9 specimens in 3 lots from Vanuatu, 3 specimens in 2 lots from the Solomon Islands.

Distribution. Previously reported from Vanuatu ( Sirenko 2001), the new records expand the distribution to the north within Vanuatu (685–800 m) and also add equivocal records from the Solomon Islands (520–1060 m). Found living and feeding on sunken terrestrial plant remains.
