Specimens examined. AUSTRALIA, South Australia: 1 ♀ (dried) Mt Barker , 35°05.09’S 138°51.86’E, B. Hyder, 28.ix.2014, nodular stem gall on E. camaldulensis, Em. 21–22.x.2014 GoogleMaps ; 1 ♀ (dried) same data, except Em. 21.x.2014, DNA extracted (009_ORG_AD_ EC) GoogleMaps .

Notes on biology. Species of Orgilus are recorded as primary parasitoids of concealed lepidopteran larvae ( Achterberg & Quicke 1992, Beyarslan & Çetin Erdoğan 2011). From Fergusonina galls, Orgilus sp. is likely to be a primary parasitoid of either of the lepidopteran inquilines Ardozyga loxodesma or A. stratifera (Gelechiidae) .
