Rhinopoma cystops Thomas, 1903

A colony of about 100 individuals was observed in a small underground cave at As Saqid. Two male specimens were netted and echolocation calls were recorded ( Figs. 3A View Figure 3 and 4A View Figure 4 ). Measurements were 45.4 and 45.6 mm for the forearm and 48 and 50 mm for the tail. Starting frequency ranged from 31.30-34.20 KHz (32.93±1.01), while the end frequency ranged from 30.1-32.5 KHz (31.31±0.89). The duration of calls ranged from 1.84-13.5 ms (7.03±4.46).
