Type localities. O. punctata : “Jérusalem” (erroneous, the lectotype is from “ Liban ”); O. pseudoclara : “ Libanon ”.

Distribution. Turkey (Hakkari Prov.), Syria, Lebanon, Israel ( Nabozhenko & Keskin 2016). One female from southeast Turkey (south of Hakkari Prov.) listed by Nabozhenko & Keskin (2016) differs slightly from Mediterranean populations of O. punctata . Status of this population probably will be revised after the study of males.

Bionomics. The species inhabits many biotopes, feeds on lichens on Cedrus libani , Quercus sp., Pinus spp., on stones in high mountains.
