Diagnosis. Length: 3.80–5.00mm; width: 2.80–3.80mm. Form oblong oval, strongly convex; dorsum densely pubescent. Dorsal side black, elytra with two large, dark reddish to yellowish discal spots positioned above midline ( Figs 6a–c View FIGURE 6 , 7a–d View FIGURE 7 ). Ventral side black, legs dark brown except last pair reddish brown, abdominal ventrites reddish brown. Mesoventrite semicircularly emarginate. Abdominal postcoxal line incomplete ( Fig.7e View FIGURE 7 ). Female genitalia ( Fig. 7f View FIGURE 7 ) with transverse coxites as illustrated. Male genitalia not studied.

Material examined. Maymyo , without other data, 1 male ( BMNH) ; Mungphu , without other data, 1 female ( BMNH) ; Assam: Kaziranga , v.1961, leg. G. Distribution. India (Assam; West Bengal; Sikkim); Myanmar; Laos; Thailand.
