Type locality: Lima, Lima, Peru.
Holotype male with labels: (1) printed with handwritten inscriptions on white paper: “ Lima ( Peru) | 8.II. 1939 | leg. Weyrauch”; (2) handwritten on white paper: “WKW | 6085”; (3) printed on red paper: “HOLOTIPO”; (4) handwritten on white paper: “ Plyomydas | peruviensis | n.g. n.sp.”
Preservation: Pinned; genitalia on plastic vial pinned with the specimen. Missing parts: right leg III, left tarsus of leg II and III.
Paratype male with labels: (1) handwritten on white paper: “ Lima | 15.1.68 [1968] | Picho coll.”; (2) handwritten on white paper: “U. A | 1621. 68”; (3) printed on red paper: “PARATIPO”; (4) printed with handwritten inscription on white paper: “ Plyomydas | peruviensis Wilcox & | Papavero | G. Lamas M. det. 71 [1971]”.
Preservation: Pinned; Missing parts: tip of right wing, tarsus of left leg I and last tarsomeres of right leg III.
Paratype female with labels: (1) handwritten on white paper: “ Lima | 11/II/69 [1969] | V. Razuri, coll.”; (2) handwritten on white paper: “U.
