Species confirmed for Romania as it has been listed for the country ( SEIDLITZ 1888: 33 as Anchomenus ruficornis FABRICIUS sic!; HIEKE & WRASE 1988: 83 as Platynus ruficornis GOEZE ; NITZU & ILIE 2003: 162 as Anchus ruficornis GOEZE ), but subsequently omitted (CATPAL 1: BOUSQUET 2003c: 462).
