This species has been cited for Asian Turkey ( CASALE & VIGNA TAGLIANTI 1999: 367 as Leja assimilis), but then was omitted for the region (CATPAL 1: MARGGI et al. 2003: 248). B. assimile is confirmed for Asian Turkey.
