Genus Moolapheonoides Barnard, 1974

Type species. Moolapheonoides kadee Barnard, 1974 by monotypy.

Essential diagnosis. Pleonite 3 unproduced posterodorsally. Urosomite 1 dorsally keeled, urosomite 3 without projection. Antenna 1 thick, peduncular article 2 uncuspidate. Mandible, molar large, triturative; palp 3-articulated. Maxilla 1, palp 1-articulated. Gnathopod 1 small, scarcely subchelate, posterodistal corner of carpus projected, propodus rectangular, palm short; gnathopod 2 small, subchelate, palm short, slightly oblique. Pereopods, basis of pereopod 5 rectolinear, bases of pereopods 6–7 expanded. Telson elongate, almost reaching apex of uropod 3 peduncle.
