Fissurina sp. 1 ( Fig. 17 View FIGURE 17 :16–18)

Description. Test small, rounded, widest point at centre of test. Oral end compressed, produced as a terminal, slitlike aperture. Test wall ornamented by strong, longitudinally radiating costae. Two costae extend from either end of aperture to form a carinate periphery around the entire test.

Remarks. This species was assigned to Fissurina due to its symmetrically slit-like aperture and rounded test shape ( Fig. 17 View FIGURE 17 :16–18). The radial ornament is similar to Fissurina pulchella (Brady 1870) and the CG taxon may be a juvenile form of this species. A lack of material precludes a specific taxonomic assignment.

Distribution within study area. This species was found at site 8 in One Tree Lagoon 1.
