Quinqueloculina View in CoL sp. 7 ( Fig. 11 View FIGURE 11 :10, 11)

Description. Quinqueloculine, test slightly longer than wide with inflated chambers and rounded periphery. Sutures slightly depressed with smooth test walls. Aperture terminal and consisting of a wide arc. Dentition unknown.

Remarks. This species is characterised by a small, elongately subrectangular test that has rounded, but truncated margins, depressed sutures and a terminal arc-shaped aperture ( Fig. 11 View FIGURE 11 :10, 11). However, this species remains in open nomenclature due to the low abundance of available specimens and because a large proportion of the test is obscured by adhering rubble debris. As a result, the terminal aperture and underside of the test are not visible in their entirety.

Distribution within study area. Only a single live specimen of Quinqueloculina sp. 7 was collected from site 8 at Sykes Reef.
