Quinqueloculina View in CoL sp. cf. Q. victoriensis Collins 1974 View in CoL ( Fig. 10 View FIGURE 10 :16, 17)
Remarks. These specimens were tentatively assigned to Quinqueloculina victoriensis Collins 1974 due to their quinueloculine chamber arrangement, test being approximately twice as long as wide with strongly rounded peripheries and numerous distinct longitudinal costae that wrap around the slightly oblique, depressed sutures. The dentition consists of a single tooth within a Lachlanella -shaped aperture. Specimens collected from the CG were not numerous and were always damaged. As a result, and because of the reported intraspecific variation displayed by Q. victoriensis ( Collins 1974; Parker 2009; Debenay 2012), a more specific identification was not possible.
Distribution within study area. Quinqueloculina sp. cf. Q. victoriensis was collected from all reefs of the CG, except for Heron Reef flat. At each site, only a single specimen was collected, except for site 20 in Wistari Lagoon which yielded two specimens. Single live specimens of this species were collected from site 8 at Sykes Reef and site 7 in Wistari Lagoon.
