Ammobaculites View in CoL sp. 1 ( Fig. 3 View FIGURE 3 :4)
Description. Diagnostic of Ammobaculites ( Loeblich & Tappan 1987; p. 74, pl. 58, figs 3–4), available material possesses distinctly agglutinated, calcareous test with the initial chambers arranged in a tightly coiled whorl that extends into a series of inflated and rounded uniserial chambers ( Fig. 3 View FIGURE 3 :4). Also like Ammobaculites , the sutures are indistinct and obscured by poorly sorted agglutinated grains.
Remarks. The specimen bears strong resemblance to Ammobaculites exiguus Cushman & Brönnimann 1948 , but the poor preservation prevents a definitive specific assignment.
Disribution within study area. Ammobaculites sp. 1 was only found at site 15 in Wistari Lagoon.
