Distribution in Iran. Northern Khorasan, Razavi Khorasan ( Wanat 1995), Semnan ( Legalov et al. 2010), Sistan & Baluchestan ( Hoffmann 1956 as Apion (Ceratapion) remaudierei Hoffmann, 1956 ).
New material examined. Northern Khorasan province, road Shirvan to Zoeram, 1227 m, N 32°22‘88‘‘ E 57°35‘63‘‘, 15 spec., 11.vi.2008, leg. F. di Cristina & M. Cristofaro on Onopordum sp. ( Asteraceae ), E. Colonnelli collection.
General distribution. Afghanistan, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Syria, Tadzhikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan.
