Allopauropus (D.) mameti ( Remy, 1959) View in CoL , n. comb
Scleropauropus (Scleropauropoides) mameti Remy 1959 View in CoL . The Mauritius Institute Bulletin, 5(5), 184–185, fig. 13.
Owing to coarse tergites with lanceolate setae Remy placed this species in Scleropauropus View in CoL though he apparently realized that it deviated from other species in the genus in having the setae combination b 1+ b 2 on the pygidial sternum, and no b 3. This is a character typical of the subgenus Decapauropus View in CoL in Allopauropus View in CoL . The club-shaped bothriotricha T 3 is also pointing to that taxon.
Distribution. Sri Lanka, Mauritius.
