Argyresthia kaoyaiensis Moriuti, 1982: 1 . TL: Thailand (Kao Yai). TD: UOPJ (Holotype and paratypes), EZAT (Paratype).

Description. Adult ( Figs. 73 , 83 ) wingspan 10.0̄ 12.5 mm.

Variation. The position of the dorsal black spot on the forewing is variable. A specimen from Thailand has the spot at the distal 1/5 of the cell beyond the black spot on the dorsum ( Moriuti 1982a), which resembles that of specimens from Yunnan Province. Specimens from Hainan Province have the spot displaced inwards and immediately above the spot on the dorsum ( Fig. 73 ).
