Treatment

Type species: Cryptoseius petrova Makarova, 1998: 115 .

Diagnosis. Dorsal shield of adult not covering whole body, with 22–23 pairs of setae: setae j1-j6, J2, J4-J5, z1, z2, z4, z5, Z3-Z4, s2, s4, s5, S3-S5, r2 and r3 (s2, r2 and r3 on laterodorsal elements); setae s6, r5, R1, R3- R5 on soft cuticle. Female with sternal setae st4 on soft cuticle and lyrifissures iv3 on posterior margin of sternal shield. Deutosternal groove with eight rows of denticles.
