NEWFOUNDLAND: 3 km east of Gambo , 1.VI.1982, D. Langor and A. Raske, under bark of red pine, (3, MUN) ; 20 mi south of Glenwood , 22.VI.1988, (1, MUN) .

Anisotoma globososa is newly recorded in Newfoundland and in Atlantic Canada ( Fig. 8 View Fig ). Adults have been found between March and September on bark, fungi, and slime molds on trees ( Wheeler 1979).
