Bubo virginianus (Gmelin, 1788)

On July 3 rd 2015, one individual was photographed ( Fig. 4A ) in Furnas (29°07’35.46”S, 49°39’56.40”W). On August 23 rd 2015, one individual was heard in Morro dos Macacos (29°14’39.21”S, 49°43’47.14”W). All records were in the edge of disturbed patches of lowland forest.
