Anthemiella Girault, 1911 View in CoL [90]: 185. Type species: Anthemiella rex Girault, 1911 , by original designation. Synonymy by Schauff, 1984a: 45; previous synonymy under Parallelaptera by Girault, 1912 [112]: 297.
Erythmelus (Erythmelellus) Viggiani & Jesu, 1985: 487 . Type species: Erythmelus lygivorus Viggiani & Jesu, 1985 View in CoL , by original designation.
Diagnosis. Body length 370–1590 μm; 330–1170 in Triapitsyn et al. (2007). Head in lateral view with gena short ( Fig. 396 View FIGURE 396 ) or absent ( Figs 388 View FIGURE 388 , 389 View FIGURE 389 , 403 View FIGURES 401–406 ) so head appearing thin and long; mandible (in both sexes) reduced to small stub, without teeth ( Fig. 406 View FIGURES 401–406 ); maxillae together in posterior view distinctly longer than wide ( Figs 402 View FIGURES 401–406 ); mesosoma in lateral view with dorsellum slightly overhanging propodeum ( Figs 396 View FIGURE 396 , 408 View FIGURES 407–413 ); propodeum medially divided by a longitudinal sulcus ( Fig. 395 View FIGURE 395 , 407 View FIGURES 407–413 ); gaster in lateral view with hypopygium long, extending posteriorly at least to apex of gaster ( Figs 388 View FIGURE 388 , 389 View FIGURE 389 , 398 View FIGURES 397, 398 , 413 View FIGURES 407–413 ).
Discussion. Schauff (1984) related Erythmelus to Anaphes , based on the propodeum with a median longitudinal sulcus, but otherwise the two genera are structurally very different.
Nearctic hosts. Hemiptera : Miridae , Tingidae .
