Description. Alcohol preserved specimens with body brown, crown pale yellow, irregular apical patch on vertex medially, eyes gray, crown pale yellow, basal triangles of mesonotum distinct ( Figs. 1a, c View FIGURE 1 ). Face fuscous, frontoclypeal area and anteclypeus broad, lorum small ( Fig. 1d View FIGURE 1 ). Fore wing sordid yellowish, hind wing light brown, transparent ( Figs. 1a, b View FIGURE 1 ).

Abdominal apodemes broad and long, surpassing middle of sixth sternite ( Fig. 2b View FIGURE 2 ).

Pygofer side narrowing distally, with microsetae at dorso-caudal angle ( Fig. 2a View FIGURE 2 ). Anal tube appendage with apex narrow and sinuate ( Figs. 2a, d View FIGURE 2 ). Subgenital plate with irregular rows of microsetae along dorsal outer margin from near base to apex, with about 4 macrosetae medially ( Fig. 2a View FIGURE 2 ). Style slim and long, apical part with inner protrusion near center, extremely elongated, curved laterad; basal part short ( Figs. 2e, f View FIGURE 2 ). Connective with manubrium long and narrow, compressed apophysis at apex of central lobe ( Fig. 2c View FIGURE 2 ). Aedeagal shaft tubular, long and slim, with pair of slim processes apically which extend laterad and curve ventrad; pre-atrial process base broad and narrowing to apex, subapex expanded in lateral view, apex reaching gonopore, gonopore subapical; dorsal apodeme moderately developed, obviously broader than aedeagal shaft and forked in caudal view ( Figs. 2g, h View FIGURE 2 ).

Measurement. Length of male 3.40mm (including wing).

Material examined. 1♂, CHINA, Guangdong Prov., Qingyuan, Lianshan , 27 July 2018, coll. Shuanghu Lin.

Distribution. China (Guangdong, Yunnan).

Remarks. The differences between the Guangdong specimen studied here and the specimens from Yunnan, on which the original description was based, differ in body length and color, the length of the connective manubrium and width of the basal part of the anal tube appendage basal part but these are considered geographical distribution among populations of a single species. Alcohol preservation may also alter the coloration.
